Students and Parents

Vimy Ridge tours in 2012

In 2012, a unique opportunity will be available to students from across Canada. They will have the chance to travel to Vimy Ridge on the 95th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, a defining moment in Canada’s history. On a Vimy Ridge tour students will follow those brave Canadians of generations past. They’ll see the Maple Leaf carved into the walls of the trenches, walk the battered landscape, still scarred by the artillery duels of the First World War and visit monuments built in honour of Canada’s sacrifice both at Vimy Ridge and throughout Europe. After returning home from a Vimy Ridge tour, students will have a greater appreciation for Canada’s history and a strong desire to positively influence the future.
